These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of zenapet.com (the "Site") and the products offered for sale by Zenapet ("Zenapet," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Products & Health Disclaimer

Zenapet sells superfood supplements formulated for dogs and cats. The statements made about our products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult your veterinarian before introducing a new supplement, especially if your pet is pregnant, nursing, has a pre-existing medical condition, or is taking medication. If your pet has an adverse reaction, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian immediately.

3. Orders, Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product availability. Payment is processed at checkout through our third-party payment providers; by submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Shipping timelines, return eligibility, and refund procedures are described in our Shipping & Returns policy, available at checkout and linked in our site footer. That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Account Registration

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product images, and the Zenapet name and marks — is the property of Zenapet or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zenapet and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Zenapet harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site or our products.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at the email address below. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (Zenapet does not sell personal information).
